Staying with an English-speaking Maltese family is an excellent way of maximising your educational experience with am Language Studio. We Maltese have our own way of life so living in a family environment can be fun, it gives you the opportunity to practise your English and it will provide you with a cultural experience that you will remember for the rest of your life! Having said this, family homes are not hotels and living with a family is, at times, a delicate thing. Bear in mind that you will be entering a family's home and that you will have to integrate into their way of life. Choose this option if you are open-minded, fun-loving and ready to learn about Maltese customs and traditions. It is an ideal choice for students wanting to practise their English and experience living in Malta at an affordable price. am Language Studio is committed to offering quality home stay programmes. Students will receive a Host Family Profile of their host family when their application is confirmed by our letter of acceptance. Should any student have any problem with their host family accommodation they are to inform us immediately in writing and we will do all we can to solve the problem within 48 hours of receipt of the written complaint. Should we be unable to resolve any valid complaint within 48 hours am Language Studio will do everything possible to change the student's accommodation immediately

Host Families Accommodation per Person per Week:

Appartamento

An am Language Studio apartment is your best option for cost-effective, independent accommodation while learning English in Malta. You have the privacy of your own space and the opportunity to cook your own meals while enjoying the company of other students from different countries. Our apartments are centrally located and close to local amenities like cafés, bars, restaurants, shops and buses and all are within walking distance of am Language Studio (maximum distance 15 minutes on foot). While all apartments are approved by our organisation, each one may offer particular features and different facilities. For more information please refer to the Apartment Profile that will be sent to you upon confirmation of your booking. Electricity and water meter readings will be taken every week and charges will be divided between the number of students sharing the apartment. Bed sheets and towels are not supplied to students. Students should bring their own sheets and towels. On request, am Language Studio will provide sheets and towels at 5 Euro per week per towel/per set of sheets payable in advance. If sheets and towels are not returned in good condition, 15 Euro per set of sheets/towel will be retained form the deposit. Students are responsible for cleaning their own apartments. If students do not keep their apartment clean then a cleaning service will be organised by am Language Studio at a rate of 7.00 Euro per hour to be paid by the students. Students booking a shared apartment must book an arrival taxi transfer with am Language Studio. This will ensure that you are met at the airport by our taxi driver and taken directly to your apartment where one of our representatives will welcome you, hand over the keys and show you the apartment. am Language studio is committed to offering quality Shared Apartments to students following a course at am Language Studio. Students will receive an Apartment Profile when their application is confirmed by our letter of acceptance. Should any student encounter any problems with their apartment am Language Studio will do all we can to solve the problem within 48 hours of receipt of a written complaint. Should we be unable to resolve any valid complaint within 48 hours am Language Studio will do everything possible to change the student's accommodation immediately. Students choosing this type of accommodation must agree to accept and follow our Student Residential Apartment Guidelines. Please read these carefully before choosing this option and sign and return them prior to your arrival.

Hotel 2 stelle

A great choice for budget accommodation in Sliema, our 2 star residence is close to all local amenities and just down the road from am Language Studio. While basic, the hotel is clean and comfortable and has a charming homely environment.

Hotel 3 stelle

Offering a bit more comfort than a 2 star residence, all our 3 star hotels are in walking distance of the school and the main shopping area of Sliema. The bus terminus is only 5 minutes away and serves routes to Valletta and St Julian's, some of Malta's historic sites and a selection of sandy beaches. This is the ideal choice for students wanting central accommodation that is comfortable and close to the school. Staying in a 4 star hotel offers students an upmarket alternative. With all the facilities and services one would expect from a superior residence and centrally located just minutes from am Language Studio, this is the ideal way to learn English in comfort and style.
