OUR LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN MALAGA
LOCATION: Our school building is an original Andalusian villa and has always been a popular learning academy. The school is situated in a district of Malaga called Pedregalejo, about 2 km from the city center and less than 100 meters away from the beach. This area is an ideal place to live and learn, as it is in a peaceful study environment on the outskirts of the city center but close enough to “El Palo”, Malaga’s nightlife central point to ensure lots of fun.
On the beach promenade you will find many bars and authentic seafood restaurants, as well as the school’s bodega “La Tortuga”, where we celebrate our welcome parties each Monday. The city center can easily be reached by public transport – there is a bus stop right next to the school.
INSIDE OUR SCHOOL: A kiosk serving warm drinks, freshly pressed orange juice, soft drinks, toast, sandwiches, and other snacks is available.
ACTIVITIES: We offer many options to keep you occupied after classes! For example: Fiesta Bienvenida (Welcome Party), guided tour of Malaga (Alcabaza, Cathedral, Picasso’s House), beach volleyball tournaments and beach parties. We also organize full day excursions toGibraltar, Cordoba, Nerja, Marbella, Skiing in the Sierra Nevada, and weekend excursions to Morocco, Madrid or Granada/Cordoba.
If you're a sports fan, you will surely find something for you! We organize golf, swimming, sailing, diving, tennis, riding, archery, hiking, gym, and skiing (Sierra Nevada).
SPANISH COURSES IN MALAGA
In our school in Malaga we offer Spanish courses for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. On the first day, you will take a test and will be placed in the level most suitable for you. The courses are held from Monday to Friday: educational material on loan will be given during class. There are no classes during holidays.
OUR TEACHERS: Our teachers are all native speakers, highly qualified and have an academic education. After the lessons, they are available to give advice and assistance on any problems with the language and to awnser questions about local cultural and sporting events. They may spend their free time with our guests and, of course, for students taking a business language course, they will provide special materials for class.
TEACHING METHOD: Our teaching method is based on the "principle of conversation" because the study of language should be aimed mainly at putting into practice the grammatical and lexical aspects of the language:
LESSONS: The class is based essentially on the principle of conversation. This is achieved through intensive training in structured role-play, guided dialogs, audio-listening and reading cultural, social, and political essays and articles related to the host country.
CERTIFICATE: At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate attesting to the number of lessons taken and the language level achieved.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION: One-to-one language training is the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is totally determined by the needs and desires of the student. The hours of this course are flexible which makes it possible to book such a course together with another course option.
This course is also ideal as a tutoring or support course to focus on problem areas. You decide the number of daily lessons: two, four or six. All aspects of the language are taught in as short a time possible without being overly demanding.

ACADEMIC LANGUAGE COURSE: The Academic Term / Exam Preparation Course at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS is structured similar to the Standard Language Course, however the goals and objectives are structured for long term study. Thus it is ideal for students who which to attain a more in-depth and continuous study of the language and also for those interested in sitting for any of the major language exams, such as the PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, DELE, DELF, DALF, CILS and DSH. The examination fees are not included in the course price and students have to pay extra for materials.
Completing an Academic Term at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS will help earn important qualifications and is perfect for those seeking the challenges and goals of meeting university entrance requirements.

ACCOMODATION IN MALAGA
In Malaga there are four types of accommodation, from which you will have the option to choose that which suits you best depending on your needs. Through each of the options you will be able to interact with people, either with natives in the case of families, or with other students, as to be able to practice what was studied in class.
HOME STAY IN MALAGA
Single or double rooms available with half board . Bathroom is shared with the host family. Rooms are cleaned once a week. Bed linen provided, students are requested to provide their own towels. Some families are within walking distance of the school, others are 30 - 45 minutes away from the school by public transport.
STANDARD APARTMENT IN MALAGA
Self-catering apartment with 2-5 bedrooms, shared kitchen and bathroom. Ideal for the budget-conscious student. Facilities also include a washing machine and an iron. Single and double rooms available.Cleaning service once a week, students are asked to take care of the day-to-day cleaning. Bed linen provided, students are requested to provide their own towels. School is a 2 - 15 minute walk; on rare occasions they might be up to 20 minutes away.
COMFORT APARTMENT
COMFORT APARTMENT 1: Self-catering apartment with 2-5 bedrooms, shared kitchen and bathroom. Apartments are more spacious and the facilities include a washing machine, iron and television. Single and double rooms available. Cleaning service once a week, students are asked to take care of the day-to-day cleaning. Bed linen provided, students are requested to provide their own towels. 2-15 minutes from the school.
COMFORT APARTMENT 2: Self-catering apartment with 2-5 bedrooms, shared kitchen and bathroom. Apartments usually have a balcony or patio. Facilities include a washing machine, iron, television and microwave. Single and double rooms available. Cleaning service once a week, students are asked to take care of the day-to-day cleaning. Bed linen provided, students are requested to provide their own towels.2-15 minutes from the school.
STUDIO APARTMENT
Self-catering apartment with kitchenette and bathroom for private use. Studios are usually located close to the beach and can have a balcony, patio or sea view, as well as air-conditioning. Single and double rooms available. Cleaning service once a week, students are asked to take care of the day-to-day cleaning. Bed linen provided, students are requested to provide their own towels. 2-15 minute walk from the school.
