You'll also get the chance to share every-day life with the people of this delightful country and experience the cuisine, its history and art, practicing what you learn in class the whole time.
Location: The school is located in a charming neighbourhood, very close to downtown Frankfurt. Just around the corner from traditional pubs and cafes you will find some of the most interesting museums. The underground station "Schweizer Platz" and the main street are only a 2 minute walk away while it's less than a 5 minute ride away from downtown on public transport.
Due to our constant expansion during the last few years, we have had to move to new facilities, with more space for offices and of course, classrooms. On the ground floor is the reception lobby and central hall, cafe style. Business hours are from 9 AM to 9 PM. Soon we will be installing an Internet terminal and will have regular cultural events. On the first floor there are 12 classrooms, a small kitchen and the staff library. The school has a cafe bar, where students can take a break between classes.
Inside our School: There is a coffee corner with a coffee machine and water dispenser. Apart from that, our school director makes sure that there is always a fresh pot of coffee available for students free of charge. There are several restaurants and snack bars a 5 minute walk from the school. A common room where students can do their homework and study is available on the ground floor. Books can be bought or borrowed on request.
Activities: Tours can be organized to Mainz, Heidelberg and Cologne. We can also organize soccer, trips to the Main Tower, the Frankfurt Zoo, hockey, the Goethe Museum, the Palmengarten, jazz evening, a boat trip and much more.
Frankfurt German Courses
In our school in Frankfurt we offer German courses for all levels from absolute beginner to advanced. On the first day, you will take a test and will be placed in the level most suitable for you. The courses are held from Monday to Friday: educational material on loan will be given during class. There are no classes during holidays.
Our teachers: Our teachers are all native speakers, highly qualified and have an academic education. After the lessons, they are available to give advice and assistance on any problems with the language and to awnser questions about local cultural and sporting events. They may spend their free time with our guests and, of course, for students taking a business language course, they will provide special materials for class.
Teaching method: Our teaching method is based on the "principle of conversation" because the study of language should be aimed mainly at putting into practice the grammatical and lexical aspects of the language:
Lessons: The class is based essentially on the principle of conversation. This is achieved through intensive training in structured role-play, guided dialogs, audio-listening and reading cultural, social, and political essays and articles related to the host country.
Certificate: At the end of the course each student will receive a certificate attesting to the number of lessons taken and the language level achieved.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION: One-to-one language training is the quickest and most intensive way to learn a language or to improve your language skills. The format of the lessons is totally determined by the needs and desires of the student. The hours of this course are flexible which makes it possible to book such a course together with another course option.
This course is also ideal as a tutoring or support course to focus on problem areas. You decide the number of daily lessons: two, four or six. All aspects of the language are taught in as short a time possible without being overly demanding.

ACADEMIC LANGUAGE COURSE: The Academic Term / Exam Preparation Course at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS is structured similar to the Standard Language Course, however the goals and objectives are structured for long term study. Thus it is ideal for students who which to attain a more in-depth and continuous study of the language and also for those interested in sitting for any of the major language exams, such as the PET, FCE, CAE, CPE, TOEFL, DELE, DELF, DALF, CILS and DSH. The examination fees are not included in the course price and students have to pay extra for materials.
Completing an Academic Term at Sprachcaffe / Language PLUS will help earn important qualifications and is perfect for those seeking the challenges and goals of meeting university entrance requirements.

ACCOMMODATION IN FRANKFURT
In Frankfurt we offer two types of accommodation, you may choose the option that suits you best depending on your needs. In all the options you can relate to people, either with natives in the case of families, or with other students, so you can practice what has been studied in class.
HOST FAMILY IN FRANKFURT
Host family accommodation is offered in Frankfurt in Germany, with single rooms. All host families in Frankfurt are available close to the centre.
We offer lodging with host families carefully selected by the Sprachcaffe staff. This option will give you the opportunity to practice your language skills outside of class while you will come to know first-hand the culture and the customs of Frankfurt.
