Situated in a quiet residential area, close to the railway station and to the busy town centre, the school is perfectly placed for exploring the beautiful and historic city of Cambridge.
The school has 10 well equipped classrooms, a lounge, large garden and a computer room with free internet access. In the summer months we also use a nearby university campus with access to all LSI facilities. The school is a registered test centre for the TOEFL examination. Our leisure programme includes barbecues, club nights, quizzes and sports including football and golf. At the weekend you can head further afield, to London, Stonehenge, Shakespeare's Birthplace, or even Scotland or Paris.

During the lessons you rapidly improve your communication skills in a variety of everyday situations. In 2 lessons each day you will cover the following areas: grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation. The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve a much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for Standard 20 in the morning. The afternoon classes further intensify the tuition and consolidate what you have learnt, through fluency practice and a comprehensive review of the culture and customs of your host country. For those studying English who work in, or are planning a career in business, we offer the LSI English for Business Course, which can be incorporated into your Intensive 30 course as an afternoon option. Students may also follow examination preparation courses as part of this course.
