LEARN ENGLISH IN AUCKLAND

The LSI Auckland campus is situated right in the centre of Auckland, close to cafes and restaurants and just a ten minute walk away from bus links.

The school has bright classrooms which overlook the phoenix palm trees in Myers Park. Facilities include a computer room with internet access, a television and video, a small library and student common rooms.

The social activities programme includes three categories of activity: cultural, social and sporting. For example, students can take part in a diving course or learn to sail in summer and in winter there is weekend skiing, windsurfing and horse-riding and more.

The LSI Intensive 30 course concentrates on all the areas that you need to achieve a much greater fluency in a short period of time. This course is suitable for students who wish to study intensively and get a well rounded insight into the language and country. Students on the LSI Intensive 30 course study the same lessons as described for Standard 20 in the morning. The afternoon classes further intensify the tuition and consolidate what you have learnt, through fluency practice and a comprehensive review of the culture and customs of your host country. For those studying English who work in, or are planning a career in business, we offer the LSI English for Business Course, which can be incorporated into your Intensive 30 course as an afternoon option. Students may also follow examination preparation courses as part of this course.

If you want a personal and interactive approach you should also consider the LSI Mini group course. Mini group courses include general grammar and skills. The focus on negotiations, presentations and meetings is relevant in business and non-business situations.  It is an exciting alternative to LSI Standard 20 and Intensive 30 courses for more mature learners.

With its multicultural mix of people, spectacular views and breathtaking scenery, Auckland is one of the world’s most pleasant and exciting cities. It is also an excellent place to practice your English, while enjoying many of the outdoor activities, as well as meeting people from all around the world!

Our homestays are carefully selected and offer students the opportunity to learn more about the Kiwi culture in a comfortable setting while studying English in Auckland.

Other: Clean linen supplied weekly, 24 hour managers. Minimum 1 weeks’ notice required for cancellations, otherwise 1 week payable.
