We offer study programmers which lead to the preparation and the taking of Italian language certificate examinations.
These certificates are recognised internationally and are held year round. Exam techniques and preparation lessons are conducted by qualified teachers.
CELI general Italian certificate

CELI 1 - A2 to be taken on completion of an Elementary course

CELI 2 - B1 to be taken on completion of a Pre-Intermediate course

CELI 3 - B2 to be taken on completion of an Intermediate course (allows entry to Italian Universities without further language testing)

CELI 4 - C1 to be taken on completion of a Pre-Advanced course

CELI 5 - C2 to be taken on completion of an Advanced course

CELI 5 DOC - C2 -This certificate is reserved for foreign graduates who wish to teach Italian in their own country. It also permits them to apply for a post as a teacher in Italian Schools.

CIC I - B1 to be taken on completion of a Pre-intermediate course

CIC A - C1 to be taken on completion of a Pre-Advanced course

Exams are held at fixed dates at appointed examination centres in Italy and abroad.

Exam months are March for CELI 1, CELI 2 and CELI 3, June and November for all CELI levels, June for CIC I and CIC A.

The CILS (Certificate of Italian as a Foreign Language) exam takes place twice a year in selected locations throughout Italy and abroad. The 2009 exam dates are June 4th and December 3rd. Sedi esame CILS Lombardia clicca qui.
We advise all students that the best preparation is our Standard General Italian programme.
Besides the completion of the corresponding level, it is advisable to follow an examination technique preparation course, divided into modules, involving at least 10 individual lessons.

STANDARD GENERAL ITALIAN
This is our standard Italian course, the ideal solution for students who wish to dedicate themselves to studying and learning Italian in a very short period rapidly.
The course integrates all the skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing while emphasis is on communication skills, improvement in fluency and confidence speaking Italian.
It is designed for highly motivated students determined to improve their level of Italian.

INTENSIVE PLUS GENERAL ITALIAN COURSE
Intensive Plus courses are group classes and individual (one-to-one) combination lessons. The group classes are standard (20 lessons/week), while the individual lessons can be either 5 or 10 times/week.
This allows students to benefit from studying General Italian and then to concentrate on their own specific language requirements with one-to-one lessons. These courses are designed to maximise the student's time in the school and are ideal for anyone who would like to focus on a specific aspect of interest/weakness.
For the individual lessons, after filling in a "Needs Assessment Form" the students, with the advice of the teacher, decide what they would like to concentrate on a study plan is then designed and put into practice to meet the student's needs.
